| NT
Neurotensin (NT) is a 13-amino acid linear polypeptide.Secreted primarily by N-cells located in the ileal and jejunal mucosa (80%–90% of total NT), with minor presence in the central nervous system (CNS), stomach, and duodenum.Binds to receptors (NTS1) to inhibit pain signaling and induce vasodilation, significantly lowering blood pressure.Inhibits gastric acid secretion, delays gastric emptying, and stimulates pancreatic secretion while relaxing the gallbladder. In intestinal stem cells (ISCs), NT promotes proliferation and stemness via ERK1/2 and Wnt/β-catenin pathways, maintaining mucosal integrity during nutrient deprivation.| Typical data
As the OD values of the standard curve may vary according to the conditions of the actual assay performance (e.g. operator, pipetting technique, wash technique or temperature effects), the operator should establish a standard curve for each test. Typical standard curve and data are provided below for reference only.| Concentration (pg/mL) | 3000 | 1500 | 750 | 375 | 187.5 | 93.75 | 46.87 | 0 |

| Repeatability
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay):CV% < 10%; Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays):CV% < 10%| Recovery
The recovery of Mouse NT spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.| Sample Type | Range(%) | Average Recovery(%) |
| Serum(n=8) | 81-101 | 96 |
| Plasma(n=8) | 92-106 | 101 |
| Linearity
Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Mouse NT and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.| Serum(n=4) | Plasma(n=4) | ||
